…Arthur Gallego, and I run a public relations agency here in New York, Gallego and Company. Today, I’m going to give you two big tips on how to write a news release.
The first tip is using tables and chart. Too often news releases have so much information, too many words and the information doesn’t pop. Using tables and charts can help draw out the information, bring the media’s attention to it and insure its accuracy.
The second big tip is context. Keep your news release topical. This can be tied into current news events, it can reference trends in your marketplace or trends in your industry, or it can site celebrity use. All of this makes your news release much more relevant and interesting for the media.
