What's the difference between biological and functional age? Here are some simple tips to look and feel younger.
I’m Bryan Golden, author of Dare to Live Without Limits. Why do some young people drag themselves around as if they’re ancient, and yet, other older people bound with endless energy? That’s because there is a difference between biological age and functional age.
Biological age is how old you are. Functional age is how you think and how you behave. Those people with a young functional age always keep the same curiosity they had when they were younger - everything is new and exciting, the world contains a sense of wonder. Whatever they do enriches their life. They’re happy to wake up every morning.
People who have an old functional age, regardless of their biological age, always see things as stressful and problem ridden - life is something to be endured not enjoyed.
So, if you want to look younger and feel younger, change the way your functional age is.
