Robin Warshay, my company is Robin’s List, and most people get disqualified for affordable housing lotteries because they simply don’t follow the directions. The directions are very specific, they tell you to mail in the request and applications by regular mail. Save your money, no Fed-Ex-ing, no certified mail, just send it in with a regular postage stamp. Then they tell you to mail in a bank, or personal money order, do not send in a personal check – your application will be tossed. Simple, many people lose their chance to win an apartment because they don’t follow the directions.
