Craig Ackerman talks about the important steps to having a good and working relationship your realtor
Once you’ve selected a realtor that feels comfortable for you and you got a good relationship, it’s important to talk about how to foster a good relationship and how to be the most productive.
So some questions to ask you’re realtor might…take the form as the following: “I like to be communicated to by email”, or “only by cell phone”, or “only by voice mail”. “I only want to look at property on Wednesdays after hours”; or “I’m only available on Sundays, before twelve”.
Make sure that you and your realtor have a very good relationship; that you’ve introduced your realtor to your mortgage financing pre-approval, of course, before you go out and look at property, which they are going to insist on. You may even consider asking your realtor if they are going to buy for you, a one year home warranty policy to back up what they sell.
Remember: you want to find somebody who impresses you, does not pressure you, and foster a good relationship with them – they’re with you to the end.
