Hi, Iím Kim Lyons, author of Your Body, Your Life, and probably most well known from the trainer on the Biggest Loser Ė seasons three and four, red team trainer.
Iím here today to talk to you about staying hydrated. It is absolutely crucial for your energy and your body function for you to stay hydrated. That means drinking water-based liquids. Try and stay away from diet sodas and coffee. Sometimes caffeine can actually dehydrate you if youíre not drinking enough water. Why should you drink water? Sixty percent of your body is made up of water; it cushions your organs and just keeps your body functioning. And, bonus, it increases your metabolism. So make sure you drink plenty of water, itíll increases your energy and make you feel better all around.
