Tuning is very difficult, but it can be made a lot easier if you buy yourself one of these little tuners like this, I recommend the Korge, theyíre only about fifteen dollars. A string is just a string. Itís not born an E or an A or a D string; you have to tune it to that tone. Always turn your pegs tighter, up, that way - so that way and that way.
Now, this string is E. This is A. This is D. This is G, B, and high E. Take your tuner, turn it on. Make sure that when you hit a string Ė itíll tell you the name of the string, itíll say, 5A. A is the note you want. So, use your tuner and get the little arrow to be centered, youíll see a nice little green dot there when itís tuned.
