We all eventually need to go to the store and buy on. So I’m going to give you a few tips about buying your first guitar.
First of all, the strings shouldn’t be too high off of the fret board, they call that action. They should be just kind of like that, you know, a quarter of an inch above maybe at the most, an eighth of an inch. But there should be no buzzes, the note should be clear, you shouldn’t hear buzzy stuff. All the way up the neck you should have clarity.
Second of all, these days you don’t have to spend a lot of money to get a good first guitar. The major brands, Fender, Gibson, they all have less expensive models that offer you ninety percent of what they’re more expensive models give you. So I recommend you look for a maybe a Fender, Stratacaster. Look for the ones from Mexico, they’re pretty good and not too expensive.
