Top Voice Over Artist, Susan Berkley ("Thank You for Using AT&T"), helps you find your vocal "sweet spot," so you can have the strong, resonant voice you've always wanted - and that people listen to!
Hi, I’m Susan Berkley, voice of AT&T. I say, “Thank you for using AT&T” and “Welcome to City Phone banking” and today I’m going to teach you how to find your million dollar voice.
Well, it all starts with you vocal sweet spot, which I call your M spot - M, because it’s you facial mask. Now the mask is the area that stretches from your sinuses down to your voice box right here. When your voice is placed in the mask, you will sound great, you’ll be resonant, people will hear you, so this exercise that I’m about to teach you is for you if your voice is soft or weak or lacks resonance. Look how easy this is, all you do is, “mmmmmm” and then you try to blend the humming with speaking, “mmmmmmmooonnneee, mmmmmmttttwwwoooo”.
