Basically what I’m going to do is show you how to make your own rhinestone appliqué. It’s really short and easy to do. You start off with some Mylar paper, it’s a two-sided paper, where it’s sticky on one side like a film. And then you’ll get a pattern of any kind, I made this pattern for a project we’re doing. You place the Mylar paper on the side where the sticky side is up. You place it on the Mylar paper, make sure that the rhinestone side is down on the Mylar paper. So once you put all the rhinestones on the Mylar paper, you flip it on the right side down, with the sticky side to your fabric. Place a scrap piece of material on top, and grab an iron - a normal iron at the highest setting, and then you’ll press on this for about 30 minutes - excuse me, 30 seconds to a minute. And there you have your homemade appliqué. That’s how you do your own appliqué rhinestone work.
