Hello! My name is Jay R. DeBates. Iím the owner of Jaye R. DeBates Inc., and Iím going to show you how to prospect a client in the next 50 seconds. The first thing we have to do is determine what product youíre going to sell. I particularly sell rubber roofs. Number two, what you need to do is make a prospect list. You can make the list based on the phone book, the newspaper, or your neighbors. Number three, youíre going to take the prospect list, youíre going to send them a piece of literature thatís made on your company, that way they can see what youíre doing. And last but not least, youíre going to go in person and ask them for a close.
