Hi! My name is David Robinson, Tenor, and we’re talking about The Learning Annex voice classes and vocal instruction. In order to warm up every day, we want you to do the following exercise, using only vowels. Do not use consonants, so you do not screw up your vocal production and cause, you know, conglomeration of nodes and other things in your voice. Something that goes like this:
Now, repeat it after me:
EE, OO, OH, AH, AY.
EE, OO, OH, AH, AY, AH AH AH AH AH.
Do it in many keys, do it preferably from C all the way up, and you’ve got it. But you’ve gotta warm up on these; make the vowels clear every day. The vowels must be clear.
