Jennifer Benesch, a certified instructor of Pilates, Dance, and Gyrotonic, teaches you an exercise which helps the mobility of your spine, helps you connect deeply to your core, and increases your overall sense of postural awareness.
Hi. Iím Jennifer Benesch. Iím here today at East Village Movements to show you a certain exercise to connect to your core and articulate your spine. So take your theraband, sit up nice and tall, shoulders above the hips and breathe in through your nose, and exhale, and pull your navel towards your spine, lowering down one vertebrae at a time, reaching your arms up. Inhale once again at the bottom, and exhale to peel your body forward and off the floor. Reach up, and stretch your arms up and over, stretch out across the front of the chest, and then lower the arms back to the front. If you found that difficult, or too simple, find variations at HYPERLINK "mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org" email@example.com.
