In all businesses, especially in the design field, the need for mentors and business consultants is essential.

Thank you Greg, it’s nice for you to have me here, I appreciate it. Interviewer: Well, we’re privileged to have you here, and you know, you’re an expert in your field, and yet you say that we should have mentors and business consultants. So tell our viewers, why is it important to have a mentor or business consultant? BL: Well, especially in the design field, but I feel in all business, because now I’ve opened up six or seven businesses in the last ten years. I find that, when you have a consultant, somebody that you can pick up the phone and call to make the best decisions quickly, that you’re able to get answers so that you avoid mistakes. I find that when you don’t have a consultant or somebody you can turn to in that quick decision making, frequently, a lot of the people I do work with, find that they make the wrong mistakes. The design field is such a quick, fast-pace, decision-making type of business, you need to reach out, you need to understand the value of avoiding all the pit-falls that could possibly be in that field way ahead of the time that you make those mistakes.
