…Christopher Harrison; and this is an Anti-Gravity Yoga technique, leg stretches from the lower limb series.
First thing you do is you have your silk hammock underneath your knee and you lean forward the same way we do in a Sun Salutation. It’s a terrific stretch for the front of your quad.
Coming back up, put the hammock underneath your heel, first pulling back – having your hip go into your socket, getting a great stretch for your hamstring and lower back.
And then, leaning out - terrific stretch for your hamstring once again.
And then, a side-twist: Put your hand behind the silk and reach all the way across.
