Whether you're a professional musician or an amateur recording in a home studio, it's possible to get a quality microphone without paying through nose.
In order to record my album, I had to use microphones. Microphones go on a chord and into the recording machine to record the music. They have a diaphragm inside that picks up the air waves and the sound waves and carries it into the computer.
Now, a lot of you are going to be recording at home. And this mic, although it cost several thousand dollars, is a very good mic and I use something like this on my album, but I also used a very inexpensive mic. This is a condenser microphone that I used on acoustic guitar, you can also use it on vocals, just about anything. It’s a very nice sounding mic because today they’ve learned the technology to build cheap mics that sound very expensive. So you can get this online for about thirty, forty dollars, and if you have a little computer recording program, you get one of these and maybe a dynamic microphone and you will have all the microphones you need to record very good music
