Everybody has an identity. An identity is living in alignment with what is most meaningful to us.
Everybody has an identity. What is our identity? Our identity is to live in alignment with is most meaning to us. And some people have an identity that has something to do with what’s most meaningful to other people. So we have two identities, I have my identity when I’m in a social situation and then I have my identity of who I am when I’m alone. How do we use our identity to bring our contribution to the world?
Well, if you have an identity that is related to, “Ok, I’m a musician” but you’re out there being a book keeper, you’ve got these two identities. One is living form the outside in. The book keeper is that outside world that when you are around other people and they say, “What do you do?” and you say, “I’m a book keeper”, especially in a business situation. But, if you’re around a social situation, you would say, “Well, I’m a musician”. So, getting straight on these two identities, and living from the inside out, can be very powerful.
