What Education is supposed to be is drawing the brilliance out of people. Ask Questions, don't give people answers. Draw your brilliance out of you.
Whatís the difference between living from the inside out and living from the outside in? You know, itís interesting; the word education comes from a root word, educo. It means to bring out from within. Was that youíre experience of education? For me, education felt a whole lot more like being packed in. But what education is supposed to be is drawing the brilliance out of the people. Socrates knew this; he was a major for-runner in the breakthroughs in education early on in 400bc. What he believed is: Ask questions, donít give people answers. Living from the inside out means that I am drawing your brilliance out of you instead of putting into you what I most want.
